Throughout my working life I've always tried to work for my employers as I would work for myself, something that has stood me in good stead over the past 20 years.
I've worked in a variety of roles, Receptionist, Marketing Manager, Supply Chain Coordinator, Call Handler, Customer Service, Events Organiser, all of which I have enjoyed and all of which have one thing in common, people. I love working with people and by becoming freelance I get to choose the people I work with.
I've recently launched We Can Do Your Admin Ltd and am working with a variety of clients, keeping track of hours, expenses, invoicing, chasing payments. I also arrange travel, hotels, car hire, new cookers (really) and have been known to provide an ear to bend when work flow stutters. Like a traditional PA, but I don't make tea.
I do work from home, sometimes at bizarre hours if sleep is not forthcoming (great for you if your work takes you Stateside), but am always available during the core business hours.
I'm also a mum to one and am used to dealing with all manner of requests, and averting minor disasters (who knew square sandwiches could be such a problem), therefore some might say I'm also qualified in crisis management.
I like to work with people who are passionate about what they do and my business can only grow by handling your business well, so work with me, enjoy the journey and let's create some good old fashioned success.
In short, I think I'm one of the luckiest people in the world today, I have a job I love that enables my clients to spend more time with their friends and family, and me with mine.
